Micro-businesses in the Mountains of Northern Albania
Simon Woodward, Leeds Beckett University, UK.
Summary
Parts of Northern Albania are still hard to get to, but adventure tourism has been making significant inroads, year by year, up until 2019. Two entrepreneurial villages, in particular, have led the way. Over 20 guest-houses have already opened, providing accommodation and food to travellers.
